To be Sane or Not to be Sane tis the question?

My greatest question that i like to introduce to people and bring into perspective is to ask them:  "Hamlet to be sane or not to be?". The frasing and the multiple abriviations of ideas combined into that question brings up alot of different interpretations. It really gets your head thinking. I personally like to refer to it in my opinion and answer to that question as Hamlet being a Sane man. It cannot be that there is any other judgment of Hamlet not being a sane man in my opinion.

This famous quote is from Hamlet's Soliloqui

(3.1.64-98)

  1. Through my interpretation of this play, Hamlet very well gives off hints and points where he may be very much sane, and very much insane. However, in my opinion, Hamlet may have experienced a major breakdown when finding out about the death of his father. This i think, was the route of his never insane adventure.

  2. I will have to disagree. Hamlet is definitely an interesting individual, but one who has many internal conflicts that manifests itself into the way Hamlet conducts himself. Hamlet is no average joe; he tends to over analyze situations. He has a way of turning the simple into complicated. Very eccentric man I'd say.
